Arts & Crafts Mission Oak Van Briggle 2 socket Pottery lamp with contemporary shade & wood stand. Original light sockets, the lamp base/vase is in good condition with the minor apologies of some faint crazing, a flea bite chip at the top of one arm as shown and a factory flaw tiny glaze pop on the opposite handle as shown in the images. I have not examined the lamp base bottom to ascertain if it is a factory lamp base or a drilled vase. The circular fitting that connects the lamp base/vase to the tower has a hole drilled into it. I do not know whether or not it was intended for a light switch or for the exit of the lamp chord as did some of the early lamps. Measures approximately: Ceramic base, 13 3/4" x 7" wide, shade 18" wide, Lamp overall 24" tall. Another excellent option to add light & color to any Craftsman interior.
